After-coffee weight, just finished that early Saturday morning call, trying to decide if i want to sit here and work a bit or get on with my life. Probably going to choose the latter for a bit while ruminating on the massive tasks to be done ahead of Monday morning. Oh, the fun we have!

Short walk last night, no pain, so will go towards a medium walk of about 3 miles and see what happens. I have been hitting 10K steps pretty regularly anyways, so it’s not like I’m being sidelined. Rowed 10 minutes last night after I woke up from an unplanned outage in the chair - i tend to fall asleep in it sometimes, so even though it was late, I wanted to honor the commitment to the goal and I did.

Coffee in, blob up, muscle down but still good, we’ll do it properly tomorrow. As far as I know, tomorrow is mine, all mine! Except for laundry, cleaning, food prep… yeah, lol.

Hmmm, scale may be sharing directly with FS again, but i want the detailed stats, so we’ll keep entering them. Keeping up the shorter walks for the rest of the week, did a short ten minute row last night for row #4. Legs were just tired after the walk and it was getting late, but I did do it. Blob is down further, which is cool. Muscle up, this is great. I think the ten minute sessions will be my “off” days for rowing and will try and limit to every couple of days max. Trying to be careful and not injure myself either. All this getting older crap sucks. 😂

Can’t remember if i shared here or not, but I picked up an inexpensive heart rate monitor a couple weeks ago to get better consistency on the rower since my arms flex and that tends to interrupt the readings on the watch. It was a good choice. Not having it blank out in the middle of a session lets me concentrate on form and finishing without obsessing. I’m not doing zones training, but i do like looking at the numbers and knowing I’m getting a solid set in.

I only have one tiny little bit of flank steak left tonight, so I’m going to pair it with shrimp for a mini surf and turf for dinner. In the meantime, I have to survive the day. Press on, press on.
