velvetee的日记, 2019年12月7日

The doctor's scale was indeed half-drunk so back to normal. Super busy these days, into a new stage of a super complex project so I basically worked till 9.30 PM yesterday. In a way, I actually work more on my remote days, isn't it funny? I also completed another (5th) module in the typology course I have been following for a long time now. I am crazy about personal development and typology in particular (INFJ for those who know).

The country has been paralysed with strikes. Worked out only twice because of this shit (no trains to go to work, so no gym since it's 100m from my office), but tested 10kg for shoulders last Wednesday and my gosh, that hurt. People are rushing around, preparing Christmas. I am so happy I'll be alone this year, no present hassle. Hate shopping, crowded places, rude people. A few of my plates below <3

Overhead press with a barbell plus front raise with a barbell as well. I like the project and also I work for results (I have a 7k annual bonus). Strikes still ongoing, worked from home yesterday.

I didn't realize you are in France Velvetee. Glad you have the option to work from home! Food looks DELICIOUS! Also - i'm an INFJ too! Supposedly the "rarest typology" but I meet tons of us lol

Tina yep 🇫🇷 👋🏼 there is a huge biais in the US, this unbelievably rare snowflake thing. Also with S/N, re typing everyone, saying how unique they are, but that’s another story. I tested INTJ first, by the way and that was a company training that they paid 1500 euros 😆

Your "type" can change in response to stress. I typically test INTP but when stressed can be ISTJ . . .

Your type does not change, it’s inborn. Unless you had some kind of brain injury. Your stress reaction may vary upon your functional state. It’s not about letters, it’s about functions behind, if you read Jung, of course.

You wre probably right Velvetee, but the assessment of type can be biased by stressors. Additionally your type can be somewhat different in work and personal situations.

It’s not your type that changes. It’s called adaptation and behaviour, external triggers, functionality. You don’t become an INFP because you got sad. Or an ISTJ because you work in supply change. Or ENTJ because you are entrepreneurial. Or ESTP because you purchased a huge red car. It’s takes time to learn the difference between the core psyche and the functional states.

Velvetee, you are right; but the assessment is filled out by people. Under stress, their answers may be distorted.

Gz just to be clear, I read all Jung multiple times and am a typology certified practician ☺️ It’s just one of my hobbies, I volunteer on the top of my job. What do you mean by the word assessment? If it’s the regular MBTI test that everyone seem to get in the US, stage I (93 questions as far as I remember), statistically it works only in 60%. If it’s a one on one assessment, based not only on the test (or even two) but on a detailed questionnaire and an interview on the top, it’s the practician’s job and even talent to dig under the masks people accumulate throughout their lives. On top of that, a practician should consider their health condition (depressed people tend to test differently, indeed). But again, types don’t change, unless there was a serious brain damage. The rest, it’s just life that changes our behaviour and us trying to survive.
