Started a new plan. Limiting myself to 2000 calories and continuing workouts to cut weight. Day 1 a success!

Ha ha! We’re doing this fitness challenge and I had to pick something significant to do. I haven’t cut to 15% bf yet, so I thought that now would be a good time. Let’s see what happens 😄

Nice, I went down to 2400-2500 and am losing at a good pace.

The change is kicking weight loss into gear. Another pound down today. Yesterday’s workout was tough. Those extra calories definitely were helpful for energy.

Oof I bet! First week is always the hardest, but then the loss overrides the desire to consume more! Have you tried adding more low cal veggies to your meals to add bulk without cals?

Thanks Mermee! My goal is to not be so big of a guy😊. I’m not sure where the actual calorie count will land, but shooting for 2000. Yesterday was closer to 2400 as I was starving most of the afternoon and evening. I know aiming for 2500 isn’t working as well, so just shaking it up. Counts will most likely depend on how active I am and how I feel. So far so good!
