A little bit more about amino acids and sugar cravings in particular.

The best to consider => L-Glutamine, it's an amino acid that makes us feel stable, calm and balanced. It is also great for our gut because it relieves bloating and helps fight fatigue. In terms of neurotransmitter promoters, it's a true back-up fuel source for the entire brain.

500 to 1500mg up to 3 times per day, early morning, mid-morning and/or mid-afternoon.
Good to tackle cravings for sweets, starches & alcohol. Especially great for those who become irritable & stressed if meals are delayed. Tested on myself.
Other indications: blood sugar regulation, eating disorder recovery, carb craving in general, digestive distress, hormonal food cravings. It reaches the starving brain within minutes and can stop almost immediately sweet/starch craving. The brain is actually fueled by glutamine when glucose levels drop too low. Glucose and glutamine are two fuels our brain uses. So instead of giving it sugars, give it a lil bit of glutamine :)

Picture: 3 runny eggs (with ghee) with black tomatoes and cauliflower. Didn't have any dessert because felt full. Peace FS friends.

Dr. Atkins (of the Atkins diet) recommended L glutamine for cravings back in the 1990s. I also try to work those umami flavours to keep sugar craving as well.

Interesting. My family knows I get "hangry" especially around dinnertime. Might need to give this a try.

No bad side effects and pretty calm. I was getting hangry not being able to get to my lunch and I saw your post laughed my ass off and took another one 😂 I feel I have more energy since yesterday and it could be a combination of taking Vitamin D3 I’m always deficient. The ash and complex B. It’s definitely a change since yesterday and I have more pep in my step. More calm. I like it🤗🤗
