The 'Mindless Eating' side is a typical situation for a Carboholic. The 'Mindful Eating' is a 'make believe' solution with very minor effect. Us that deal with gaining fat far too easily need to address our deep addiction to the drug-like carbs, and need portion control that train you to expect fullness within ten minutes after eating, and not at the point of the last bite. My two cents.

I used to think portion control was not possible for me as well, but with practice and lots of it, I can now say I can do portion control easily in my everyday diet
