Ugh I always have that problem! I have very muscular calf’s for a lady. Now that I’m smaller (size 10) it’s becoming a really annoying problem LOL! I’m going to have to switch jean styles ☹️ If it weren’t for my calf’s I might even fit into some size 8s 😑

I consider my calves to be normal. However a pair of jeans I tried on recently didn’t want to come over my calves! They were a skinny cropped/Capri Jean with the cuff sitting mid calf. The next size up was baggy in the hips and thighs. They really need a ‘relaxed calf’ type of Jean just like they have slim, regular and relaxed. If they can have boot cut and flared leg then why not relaxed calf?? Keep in mind that I don’t think my calves are big in any way so I think it’s just the company’s scrimping of material lol. 

Nice with less swelling 

My ankles swelling was the catalyst for me to get serious about my diet. And that probably started happening around 40. Weird stuff happens when you get older. LOL 😂 Glad your pants are fitting better! 

Yoga. Lay on the floor with your butt and legs up against the wall. Like a capital L 

My calves are always on the larger size. I've heard it's what I get for being mostly German. But if you're experiencing swelling for real, that's something else entirely. I'd try the turmeric/black pepper/fat combo that really helps me with pain when I get inflammation in joints. Helps me. I've heard the elevation trick helps, but it might mean there's an underlying condition. If it's that severe, I'd suggest a trip to the doc. 

Thanks guys! I will try that yoga pose. I think it may help. When I get home I usually lay down for a while and my legs do feel better. I would LOVE relaxed calf pants!! That would be awesome! I usually wear skinny’s or straights. I’m gonna have to try men’s or flare 😑 I am almost 38 🙁 I guess I should start wearing mom jeans 😒 

Keilin you will get there! I always wanted to be a ballerina and walked around on my tippy toes lol My mom days that’s why I have big calves and the rest of my sisters have chicken legs lol 

Lzenn I am making an appointment for the first time in 3 years to see a doc 🤘 I will bring it up! 

I wear boot cut jeans and that’s ‘Mom’ enough for me ;). I turned 38 last Dec. I’m thinking it’s time to buy a pair of skinny jeans. To irritate my 13 yr old if nothing else :D.

🤣🤣🤣 my oldest is 17 and I recently bought a beautiful black lace dress and she was like “Excuse me? Where do you think you are going to wear that at?” 😧😧💀 She’s so mean 😂😅 You should rock those Skinny jeans! 🤩 

She just outgrew a size 2 skinny Capri. I should really sneak in her room and get them. Not sure if I could wear them yet or not though. I may try tonight while she’s skating with her friends :). You rock that lace dress! One day you’ll be able to remind her then harass her back :).

Unfortunately I had to stay in town. I’ll sneak them another night :). Or next week during school maybe :)
