Ok, so I noticed that me not going to the gym for 13 consecutive days did bring dysfunctional thoughts. Not that I was worried of gaining weight, not that I felt I lost progress, but I didn’t feel my best. I couldn’t help telling myself “another day you didn’t go to the gym 😖”. I found I am a working progress. I am working on tolerating a break/vacation from the gym without dysfunctional thoughts 💭 or feelings

Good thoughts Chris! I also struggle being away from the gym or exercise in general. My wife jacked up her back on Monday, so I’ve been taking care of her and staying away. She’s the one that’s been a bit worried about not going and I told her that she’s not losing gains over the week.

Chris I did not “need” a break I just took it, but my brain did not let me enjoy it 🤯
