So yesterday happened, and I have a ton of stuff to get through today and it's going to be challenging, but life goes on. Kept my food stuff together, have to work today because I didn't get to it yesterday, but helped a friend rescue a sweet girl who was abandoned (dumped) and that makes it worth it. Not seeing BF this week, it seems, can't say why, but again, life goes on. Really ready for this crap year to be over with. Other than 9/11, I can't remember this much heavy stuff hitting wave after wave without pause. Gotta focus on the good and stay in the light. Appreciate who and what you have in the here and now. Can change in an instant.

Outside on a break watching hummingbirds. Such amazing little creatures. Love them. I think the heat or maybe the patio umbrella has discouraged them this last week but they're here in full force this morning.

My friend keeps sending me pics of this beautiful girl as I'm typing so sharing. Happy, healthy, playful thing. Safe now. And no, I'm not taking her, I'm full up and I know it. She's getting fostered.
