Swam last night, it was okay. also worked out for about 25 minutes on the gym machine doing mostly upper body/core as best I could. was getting pummeled by the water mid-session, so turned it down two notches. not sure why it was an issue, but I can always turn it back up. 756 strokes (think this is low by my count, but whatever) heart rate mid 140s with 11 minutes being in peak zone, which is not really where I want to be doing a long swim.

the jump in weight is interesting. I didn't eat anything over the top, I've been moving more. blob is staying steady, we'll see where it goes the next few days. wearing jeans without any stretch in them this morning because I needed to make sure I'm staying where I want to be. they went on just fine. we'll just keep playing and moving. numbers say water and muscle mass. the cool thing is injury aside, (yeah, it's still a thing), I'm feeling strong with the exception of my core which isn't weak so much as temperamental with certain movements, like getting up from an incline (fun!). working on that and watching videos as I go because it's new to me. it's actually a solid little machine. should have done this seven months ago. but here we are anyways. didn't walk, so no pics.
