I'm running out of room to increase my supplemental machine lifts... gonna hafta recruit a treadmiller to sit on my shoulders - not like they're doing much anyhow 😂

Done lol. That's half my workout: losing and unloading for shrugs, leg presses, and rack pulls. Thankfully, chest day only takes 2 seconds to load up the bench press with a couple 5#s 😭

This is 475 on the shrugs. In June, I started hitting 40 @ 435, so I bumped up to the bigger plate on the end... I can't believe how far I've come since just last year 😮

Heck no! I just collapse on the floor, wait for the medical team to load me into the ambulance, then let the next sucker who uses the machine strip my weights off. I can't be lifting that much weight - that'd be nuts!

Or their entire workout... they just follow me around waiting for me to finish. Since we all wear headphones, they give me the universal "don't worry about it - just leave them on there" hand gesture. I look back and see them laying them all on the floor next to the machine.

It's a 3-step process: I load, next guy strips, then the gym employees come around and put them back on the weight tree.

NEAR-death! I don't think I've heard the phrase "get the paddles" more than when I started at this gym. Most people look at the cleanliness of the facility, the available equipment, the friendliness of the staff... the first question out of my mouth on the initial tour is "how many AED machines do you have near the free weights?"
