I’ve been wondering how maintenance is working out for you, CrystalJo? I have some time before I have to concern myself but I am interested whether you added 50-cals a day for a week then gradually increased? I think dieting for me is relatively easy compared to maintaining the loss.

@Maguscanook...basically, I am eating within a calorie range of 1100-1400 for now. While losing, I was eating 1000-1200 range. I'm focusing on getting enough protein and fiber. So far...so good🤷‍♀️ The scale varies day to day, depending mostly on 'bathroom results'...hence the fiber😉

You had me chuckling about the ‘bathroom results’. Okay, so quite a big range. I can’t eat below 1250 and generally eat around 1300-1350 to reduce weight. I’m losing at that cal level, albeit not as quickly as some people might. I believe you are more petite in body frame, CrystalJo. I am a smidge under 5’7”.

@Maguscanook...I am shorter (5'2") but my wrist measurements says 'large boned' (per the Calculator. net site). I've been eating under 1200 cals/day for nearly a year now and find that varying the cals from day to day can actually 'kick start' weight loss again🤷‍♀️

I totally agree with the calorie variation. My body can go from "Happy to OMG you're trying to starve me" in a nano second!
