this gain is okay, I'm back to eating a little more food again. it's easy not to eat when you're not moving, but there's a tradeoff there. I needed to walk and be outside again for my mental health. things are normalizing bit by bit. crying is mostly at night or if someone looks at me cross-eyed, but less frequent. I'm probably going to keep Shasta and Chance together on leashes with me for a week or so to get them used to one another and the house hierarchy.
