Thank you Erquiaga. It's a very special wedding. My son and his wife and Emmylou are in it and also our youngest daughter. Venue is Avila Beach, cliffs overlooking the ocean. 💕 

Thank you Petra. So excited to be with all 4 kids, Emmylou, my sister, and one very special niece. 💖  

Erquiaga, yes, it's at Point San Luis Lighthouse. Beautiful spot.

Wifey, this is a completely OG free event, except for the first day and that's only the evening. 😄👍❤️

Wifey, I am prepared for an abundance of enjoyment. The bride has been my youngest daughter's best friend for over 20 years. Both of her parents passed away almost 15 years ago, so I have to wear waterproof mascara for this wedding. Heck, I will have to reapply my entire face a few times before the night is over! 😄

Funny, we got a call this morning from one of Joe's cousins, asking if by any chance we were going to be in town, because he is having a last minute birthday party. We told him we were on our way to California and he got excited, until we told him about the wedding. We might still be able to fit in a short visit. It's tricky to schedule multiple visits and not get wiped out when you have a large family. I have learned over the last 8 years. I cannot accommodate everyone and survive! 😄 

Take care of yourself Becky. We always say that a vacation near family is never a vacation as so much visiting is expected. It can be very tiring.  

Yes, that's so true. Joe and I are already planning a short camping trip when we get back. ⛺️

Wifey, we could find family and friends in a lot of the places we go. The cousin that is having the birthday party has a daughter who recently had her first baby. She happens to live nearby the wedding venue and we were thinking of seeing her, but she'll be down in southern California for her father's birthday, so that's out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We were trying to keep this visit strictly about the wedding, but Joe is going to try to spend some time with 2 of his siblings and visit another cousin who is very sick and that's important.
