Do not like this number. I should put a post it on my monitor. Time to make some decisions. How delicious was that hamburger? Did it make me happy? Do I want to carry it around for years?

Ironically, burned a lot of calories yesterday because other than a short 15 minute nap, I never really sat down. Short walk last night due to weirdness. Up and down the ladder taking down Christmas lights before this huge storm gets here later today.

Blob down, everything else up. I do have real groceries to eat all week and some more soup. So that's all good.

I'm sure you be fine and that burger will only i.pact your weight a day or so. You typically make such good choices so a burger shouldn't ruin it. I've been craving g a cheese burger, but after reading your post I may get the veggies I need to make soup! Perfect in this weather.

Sometimes my body fights me when on the edge of another 10's milestone, ex. 169/170. That's where I am right now and I'm literally doing everything right! It's like a vortex that wants to keep me at the higher end or pull me back in. Stay firm, add more fiber and yup, don't have that burger. Or, have a turkey burger or 1/2 if you have the willpower. Don't let it get the best of you - keep fighting it - you've got this!

thanks all, it's on the way back down this morning with some nuances. i am eating my kale salads again because I love them. almost all of the holiday junk is gone, and what's left may find its way into the trash or freezer. I managed to snag two chickens at Costco this weekend, so we're set for the week without a lot of work going into it. one of those chickies is going to be soup. for those wondering, there is absolutely no shame in repurposing a rotisserie chicken and you don't need to add any salt to what you're making from it. :)
