Your idea of target weight and your body's idea are different. Most people have this issue.

I know I do. I love my diet at 200 pounds and I struggle to get to 185-190 where I look better.

Its true, Chesty, the body is a highly evolved machine and as humans, we are at its mercy sometimes in terms of understanding.

I have been thinking about it whilst doing my cardio this morning, Diablo. And it all boils down to CICO as usual. I just eat too much. Not a lot too much, but too much none the less!!

I feel ya. I maintained for a year and a half until I gained it back but it was always 10-12 pounds above my goal. Frustrating.

I find maintenance very hard, davidsprincess. I know how to get to target, but staying there is my biggest challenge!!

Well fair play to you Anne - such attention to detail, I’ve evolved a different strategy (joke) I don’t maintain anything re exercise or food intake 🤷♂️I just do as I wish/feel/fit in time wise - 🤣🤣🤣 probably not a great suggestion 🙃

I find maintenance harder than actual weight loss. I keep my calories around 1800 then have a blow out now and again, that's the way I maintain 😀👍

Maintenance is hard. I continue to log and hold myself accountable and remind myself this is how I should be eating 90% of the time but it is ok to indulge occasionally because not having a food you love will set you up for failure. You got this - one day at a time.

I am yet to maintain properly! It’s so hard and I’d rather be losing weight than maintaining but it’s needs to be tackled!
