Shorter walk last night, we got out and things went slightly awry so headed home after 2.6 miles. No biggie and i like that i called it as a mile short in my head before i got home and looked at the watch. Still got 11.5K steps, so not too bad. Comic-Con is this week and usually it means things are nuts from Thursday through Saturday. Last night - crickets. Nothing. Hardly anyone out. The locals were avoiding and the guests never showed up due to the writer’s/actor’s strikes. Think I’m going to see if i can find a friend to go out to support our local spots. Work has been an absolute bear, long hours, hard tasking. I don’t get it. The only upside is that when i do finally get to sleep, i don’t wake up for anything. Weight up slightly, but blob is down more, muscle is holding. I still have some lingering pain when i do stupid stuff in my right forearm, but it is better and I’m wearing a light brace when I’m doing heavy work. That seems to help. My temperamental hammie is being a bitch, quite frankly. Pretends to be fine and then i take one wrong step and have to hobble home. Stretching before, walking slowly at the start due to a big hill, and massage chair when i get home. I keep saying that I’m going to take a break during the workday to do a yoga/stretching class, i need to do that. One of the very few things i miss from working in our offices is the gym. Decently equipped, $5/month for a locker with a pool, sauna and steam room. Crazy, huh? Those days are over, so living room floor it is with apple fitness. Took this pic Wednesday night, i think. Quintessential San Diego skyline with the moon and Venus in focus. Still a cell phone pic, so best i could do. Lili’s growing and can do the whole 3.5 miles without a break now. Chance absolutely adores her and will go find her when i tell him to. She’s his little sheep with fangs. Beautiful sky, beautiful pups! Sorry for your aches and pains, hope things get better soon. In my other life, when I lived where I could see stars at night, I used to take the children outside and point out the planets and the constellations. Sweet memories.

Shir, I almost named her Ursa after Ursa Minor, because she looks like a little bear! But then I figured people would think I named her after Ursula in the movie so went with Odile/Lili for short. I loved looking at the stars with my dad. Some of the good memories.

oh the hair!!!! My new white puppy is too much for Max the shark robot, I have to vacuum twice a day right now she has stopped chewing things in the house because none of the other dogs do it, she is copying their behavior in house. Outside she tears up anything that has stuffing. Lawn furniture is naked now, no cushions. I have a GS that looks exactly like yours and I adopted Missy for the same reason you did, we lost Red in Feb and Chase was lonely. We can get through the puppy stage 💖

Both pics are beautiful! Shoes for Sydney were not successful. She hates them cries and bites at them etc. We do have a routine now for potty times. I take her out after breakfast, around 7 and she goes 1&2 usually. Then I take her out between 10-11 am and she pees behind our trailer where there is a sliver of shade. We go out again in afternoon, same place. Then after dinner we can go to larger part of yard as it is in shade but have to check rocks cuz sometimes they are hot. Sydney is getting the hang of it, she waits on patio until she sees me check rocks.

We had to work Sadie into the shoes over a couple of days because she acted like she was dying first day. Put them on, cookie with PB because that’s a little longer of a distraction, made her take a few steps, repeat next day. Just save them for going outside and I think she’ll get the hang of it. You’ll get there.

The dogs are cute. I like big ears - the better to hear you with. LOL.
