Getting rid of freezer food! These at some of the clothes I got from the outlet store. The pink 💗 dress fits now but i think I'm too old for it. I wore it when I was 33 🤣💗💗💗💗

congrats so happy for you how long did it take you to loose 110lb I'm on my journey and lost 67lb since last June but I eat carbs and stuff I just try to eat better and less than I did before I wanted to be at 270 by my 1yr goal but it is only a month away hoping it will get there. that would give me 82lb loss in a year still not bad.

SARA! YOU'RE don't so well! You'll get to 82 this year! I started in January 2023, so, this is my 16th month. I'm doing keto/ carnivore mostly no carbs for 4 reasons.. 1. control my carb cravings, 2. To be in ketosis and have ketones all the time. I think so much more clearly in ketosis and b my moods are so much more stable in ketosis. 3. To reduce inflammation. When I eat carbs, my body hurts, my knee hurts. I have artificial bone implants in my knee. 4. So i can cut calories to lose weight and not feel like I'm starving. Having fat and protein as my primary fuel has made it so much easier. I'm done with the tuna salad diet 🤣Low carbing has helped me so much!

thanks Jen Jabba most days I stay at 150g carbs sometimes under but man this week with have knee replacement surgery it seems like that's not the case I've went over calories and carbs definitely yesterday had 300carbs I haven't eaten that much carbs in months sheew maybe it's cause I'm doing my physical therapy exercises 3 x a day and the rom tech range of motion machine at least 1x a day mon and Tues did it 2x a day it's just a exercise bike without the seat and you put a chair in front of it and I do it 12 min at time and then walking around the house as much as I can sometimes every 2 hrs and sometimes every 3-4. plus trying to get healed up so hopefully by next week on Monday I won't be craving so much carbs I'm starting again tomm to try and cut the carbs back down and eat my apples for natural sugar and few carbs and trying to at least fast for 12-14hr again. I know what started this high carb week I was given 3 ensure carbohydrate drink to drink 2 the day before surgery and 1 the morning before I got there at 50g of carbs each it was so sweet and I started the craving again I will get it back down again and onto my 270, then 250 and my end goal of 220. with my height at 220 I'm like size 14 I loved it last time night got that small for me...your doing awesome job and I want to try a version of carnivore because meat I love my meat with every meal..maybe I will try it sometime in my journey.

SARA 150 IS HIGH. Think of it this way, you're causing inflammation and it's not helping your knee heal. Try to lower it a little every week. Carbs give me bad carb cravings and knee pain. 😩 base your meals around a protein, chicken, beef, fish, what ever, then add a carb if you want to that. A small potatoe, beans, what ever. Protein and fat first, then carbs in the form of veggies or beans. Maybe some bread. will curb your binging. Those shakes are the WORST. They should have just given you a chocolates shake 🤣 friend just had her second knee replacement. Just think, you need to heal with good food! had h

Sara, 5 snickers bars have 150 carbs, 3 cups of rice have 150 carbs, 3 cups of pasta have 150 carbs. Do you think 150 is a lot now 🤔

If you promote carbs in my journal i will delete it. Read my reasons for low carb. 150 carbs are not good. I told her to just cut back not to eliminate!

I think the pink looks good on your coloring and the style of the dress is nice it's not overly revealing or have any weird patterns. I definitely think that you should wear it it's hard to find a good dress these days that doesn't have some sort of weird slit up the side or strange designs to make a statement. personally I like the blue shirt with the green jacket over it I think it looks very nice. but my opinion may be influenced by the fact that I like the color blue and I don't like pink at all. when I was a very small child my mother trust me and lace ruffles and lots of pink so I don't like those things, lol (complete with pantaloons up to age 8). So of course my girls love them 💗. 🙄 I think you rock the dress! 👗 If I wasn't such a weirdo about what I eat with food type, textures, and stuff I would try that elimination diet. I've heard it's really good to find foods that are causing inflammation in the body. I looked at an adapted form of it which I thought was more likely that I could stick to while I processed each food group out of my body and reintroduce them. I really liked the concept and how effective it can be and that there is a amount research support it's effectiveness for MS. I think with planing that I could try it and be successful as you know I have quite a regular food rotation so I'm a little worried about it. But I acknowledge much like carnivore that they elimination diet can be very effective in controlling inflammation and finding foods that are triggers. I know that wouldn't be successful with carnivore because of the digestion issues I've talked about (and I just not much of a meat eater 🤷). But I thought that it might still be a good idea to look for ways to avoid inflammation causing foods when possible. It's great that you have been able to find the problem foods and eliminate them. It's a big step in controlling the problems inflammation. 🤓

LEAH, thanks for the clothes overview! I LOVE your story. You poor thing 🤣 pantaloons lol. My mom put me in some clothes and i cut them up. She must have been so over me! As for the elimination diet, that is basically the meat cheese eggs combo. Everyone is a little different. It's easier to just go beef only for a while and then start adding things back one at a time. I know people who have gone into remission with MS on it, they also reverse digestive issues. It's Not ez. I do plan on trying to add food h but as you know. Sometimes it takes week to react. It's so tricky having auto immune issues!

Yeah the problem is you need to stick to it for weeks. But it would be nice to know conclusively what too avoid. For example a lot of people suggest to avoid nightshades but I love tomatoes and other nightshades 😢. But other people do fine but I'm not sure which group I would fall into. But I did hear that they also have a blood test that may see the same the same things I'll have to look onto if it's A real and B covered by insurance 🤷. I've researched the elimination diet before but without the modification of the diet I would not eat I know myself 😔. I'm just trying to go lower med's when possible and reduction of inflammation would help. I don't see myself stopping working even when I switch jobs I just don't stop moving I never have. So more rest is not a helpful recommendation for me from the doctor I don't mean to be that way it's just the way I'm wired I do... So this is a more realistic solution for reducing medication.

Unfortunately the doctor told me I'll never go in remission it's one of the problems with progressive MS. Right now we're just trying to limit the amount of progression so we limit the amount of disability. Which is a depressing way of saying we're just trying to slow things down. Luckily though it looks like Mom has the remittance so she probably can go into remission so I will definitely be working with her and her diet to hopefully get her intermission so she won't have to deal with a lot of these issues. I'm actually Super Lucky when I first got into the hospital they thought I had something called mog which is can be fatal so the way I look at it is I'm doing a lot better than I could be. And overall I'm so much luckier than so many people in the world I try to remind myself daily I have how many opportunities I've had in my life and continue to have is not right of me to ever feel sorry for myself because there are so many people out there in the world suffering there so much worse than me..

Jen Jabba Yes I know 150g is high , for a long time I stayed at around 100g maybe 120 with eating strawberry and watermelon and then winter came so I been eating apples and that's where alot of my carbs are coming from but most definitely I'm trying to get back down to 100g of carbs or less. this past week has been a killer but I will get back to the lower carbs as much as I can the way I look at it is even if I can get back to 120g of carbs with half of them coming from my apples or grapes or fruit then the really bad carbs are not very high and then I can continue to lower all carbs a little bit at time. I used to consume 210g carbs from just Mt dew alone and then some days if I was dehydrated in summer I'd have 4 bottles of mt dew and that's close to 300g not including food so I've definitely cut carbs way down over half of them I cutout but I am continuing to try to cut down mote. my nutritionist actually recommended I stay under 150g of carbs as long as the majority of them are coming from fruit and vegetables and with only 1 piece of bread a day which I have with my eggs and sausage for breakfast and then a apple. She said to stay like that for 8-12months and then on the start of the next week after the year we will start decreasing some more carbs and try to get down to 120g of carbs with most of them coming g from fruit and vegetables which is where most of mine do come from. She said then on the start of the 3rd year we can adjust other things as we need to but not to go under 100g of carbs because they are not bad if consuming them the right way but of course we don't want to eat a bunch of the bad carbs.

Wow, Jen! You could be mistaken for a model. Your skin is radiant, and you're the epitome of health. The carnivore diet has evidently worked wonders for you, and I'm thrilled to see such positive results. I've just embarked on my own carnivore diet journey and I'm already noticing numerous benefits that I had previously dismissed as signs of aging. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing such an inspiring post and photos.
