Been a really bumpy two weeks. My father passed away suddenly on June 7th, the stress of that and the family have been pretty overwhelming. Probably going to be another two weeks of visitors and settling of estate issues before things get back into a routine. The good thing is that I haven't been eating my feelings. Rather, I'm just not really into it, which is good because I haven't been good about exercising either. Just too much to do. I know I have to make myself a priority again, but I'm trying to preserve the relationship with my brother who is very angry with my dad and taking it out on me - no, i'm not playing the victim, I'm trying to avoid nuclear war by striking back. It's just a crazy time. Hunker down, ride out the storm.

So sorry for your loss! When tragedy happens, it is always so hard to keep on track. My father suddenly passed away in 2010, and it sent me haywire. I had to keep in mind that I needed to be healthy in his honor and still need that sometimes. I hope everything pans out with your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Guess what Katsolo...Jesus knows all about your pains and struggles and His word says cast your cares upon Him and He will carry you and your burdens. Prayers in this difficult time and hoping that you find strength to get a new routine because I know that things will never be the same for you again after your loss. I am praying for you, Hun! So sorry for your loss! I know what you are going through on both fronts - eating your feelings and dealing with angry siblings. All I can offer is to be strong for yourself. You cannot control how other people feel. You have to take care of yourself before you can take care of anyone else. Prayers for you and your family.
