I've always been overweight, but during 2017 life through a couple of curveballs my way and I guess I responded by comforting myself with food. I got my weight up to 280 (I'm 5'11") and just felt like crap. My blood pressure was now high, stairs winded me and my overall quality of life declined. Then on May 1st of 2018 I decided enough was enough it was time to take control of this weight problem before it really got out of control. I started off doing the keto diet and used fat secret to track my calories and macros. Then on sept.1st, after some pleasant fat loss, I joined a gym and started doing resistance training, and with doing that added carbs back into my diet to fuel my workouts. AMAZINGLY, even though I was eating carbs, I continued to lose weight!!! (Well after the initial carb water gain..lol)

So here I am a year later, 90 pounds ligher, and still tracking my calories everyday! My most recent goal is to remove the stubborn lower belly fat, I know all I can do is to track my calories, eat at slight calorie deficit and eventually it will go!!!!

Now when I'm stressed I hit the gym, or take a walk! Trust me it's a much better approach than putting down a pint of ice cream!
