Hello FSF 👋

Today I'm talkin about water cuz I know for a fact, that I can do BETTER on this and I needed the extra motivation. I usually shoot for 6 glasses a day but today I'm going for 8 (I haven't even been getting up to 6 over this past week 😖) and my weight has been stalled for a couple of weeks too. I'm hoping it will improve not only my hydration but also my sluggish digestive system and my appetite control...at least that's the PLAN!

I did only 35 mins of home exercises (cardio + strength) this morning. I usually average more like 50/day, but I haven't been sleeping well either. But at least I kicked myself in the butt to do SOMETHING of a workout 🦵

My main objective today ~ besides drinking more water ~ is to reapply for my arthritis medicine (I usually get it at no cost through the pharmaceutical company foundation). I DID apply for it ahead of schedule in December, but apparently there was a mistake on the application and it got rejected. ACCCKKKK! I have been trying to have them fix it...but the weeks are dragging by and I'm feeling the effects of being without the Enbrel. So...I will fill out a brand new application today and take it to my pharmacologist office to be faxed...again!

Yes, I think this is weight loss related, because it directly effects my ability to move, sleep and even focus on my daily routines that have been successful. I know I've talked about this before...and I apologize for bringing it up again. But I value and request your prayerful support. 🙏🙏

@Tim...no finger-pointing happening here, my friend💙 Just food (or in this case, water) for thought. I think nearly ALL of us struggle with this!

Hope the application goes well. I am sure that your body will hand on to some weight if it feels a bit destabilized so make sure not to stress about it. We can only do so much. OK I am getting my water bottle out right now!!!! I usually drink way too much coffee.

good luck! I got a half gallon bottle and it makes it easy to just keep near me all day. also, for digestion, try incorporating hot tea once a day.

Get the water going! A word of caution here--My husband has ended up in the E.R. TWICE because he would not drink enough water! Dehydration is no joke! Get that water in and make it at LEAST 8 full glasses a day!

Yes Crystaljo water is very important I carry around a gallon jug every day and I try to finish it by the end of the day, and don't you worry I have been praying for you to get your medication. Love you and have a wonderful day.

Thanks Chystaljo that was great info I’d been drinking 64oz but see by that chart I need to up the intake prayers that you get the med. you need I also suffer with arthritis,fibromyalgia,and neuropathy, which the Celebrex, and Cymbalta are helping one day at a time Sweet Jesus! I know I am way to sedentary, praying weight loss will get me up and moving more! I really appreciate all y’all on FS! Thank you!❤️🙏🏻

@determined...I SO appreciate your commenting and offering prayer. I will be praying that you find small ways, all throughout your day, to just get up and move. Even just standing up during commercials or setting an alarm on your phone for once an hour to stand up & stretch. I've found that the more I move...the more I CAN move! Step counter is also a great motivator & tool...not necessarily to have a goal number, but just to try to do more steps than you did the day before! Hugs to you🤗

you've got this 🌱 I've implemented a coffee tax for myself 🤣 gotta drink at least 1 full glass of water before getting coffee in the morning, and always check myself if I'm wanting to get more coffee because I'm thirsty (in which case I get water instead!)

Consult your Dr. before drinking large amounts of water. Drinking more water than your body needs can cause blood dilution, lowering your electrolytes, causing fatigue, and many other problems. If you have kidney disease (I have stage 3 down from stage 4 by dietary changes), heart failure, lung problems, arthritis in your joints including spine etc, which I have all of these, you need to know how much fluid (any liquids you eat or drink) you need to properly hydrate and how much is too much. Sorry, but the calendar of suggested amounts of water does not address your physical health. See your doctor first.

I drink plenty of water...I just heat it up and pour it through coffee grounds first 🤣
