Sharing some NSVs after a trip to the Dr...she had me DROP 2 medications! 😊 Since I've lost the weight, my BP has been running too low and my lymphadema is gone, so I can stop the BP meds and the Lasix! I'm a bit nervous about it for fear of possibly gaining some weight... but I'll be monitoring things in the coming weeks and can add them back if needed. Also, I'm now able to walk out to the mailbox quite easily! it's about 400 steps(round trip) and my gait is nearly NORMAL, with longer strides and not needing to stop to rest my hips & back every 20 steps or so! This has been 1 of my goals since the beginning of this journey and I really believe it's from adding the strength training💪 whoop! whoop!

Wonderful news Crystal!!! Very glad to hear this. :-) Strength training is becoming a focus here, too. I'm watching, listening and learning as much as possible. Use it or lose it, right?!? Time to celebrate with a new outfit!!! :-)

Definitely monitor your weight, not so much for fat increase but for fluid retention. I’m guessing she gave you some quidelines as to when to call her or restart the lasix if you develop unaccounted for weight gain or an increase of a certain number of pounds in 1-2 days. Watch the sodium intake carefully. Watch your BP. Fluid retention will drive your BP up.
