OTB, yes it was awesome, I had a good tour guide. She lives up there and knows all the parks and trails. The only one that was slightly crowded was a section by the lake, otherwise it was perfect. If you ever are going that way let me know I’ll get you the names of the lake (which has a man made beach section) and some of the parks.

Kaylin, I live in the southern most part of NY!! Kidding I know what you meant, I have yet to travel west into NY state but have heard and seen pics of how awesome it is. I will work my way west next time!

Thanks cheese84, yes this is about three and a half hours north. And yes, where I live on Staten Island is the most southern part of NY. Kaylin was in the south part of NY state.

i always forget that new york city is pretty much straight across from me in Pittsburgh (or, 24 miles north;)
does that mean that the fingerlakes are mid-state? haha
