Family Favorite Casserole

An all in one meal made in a slow cooker.

材料

  1. Combine all ingredients except milk, macaroni, and cheese in a greased 3 1/2 to 5 quart slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on low 6-10 hours or on high 3-4 hours.
  3. Stir in milk and cooked macaroni during the last 30 minutes off cooking on low or the last 15 minutes if on high.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top.

I made this tonight for dinner. I added diced tomatoes, my own seasoning blend (equal amounts of seasoned salt & McCormicks backyard brickoven} plus some basil, garlic and oregano. Turned out well. I also precooked the hamburger with onion and seasoned it. I added some beef bouillon and worchestershire. Think some salsa would jazz it up too. Overall we thought it was good.

The recipe was okay; not a lot of flavoring even though I doubled up on the seasoning. My hubby said that it wasn't one of his favorites. . . Hubby also suggested ground turkey (if there is a next time) instead of the ground beef.
